Accurate, Multi-Connection Speed Testing
Uses parallel download and upload connections against this site's own server to reflect real-world browsing and streaming performance, plus ping and jitter for gaming and video calls.
Speed Test FAQ
How accurate is this speed test?
The test opens several parallel connections directly to this site's own server, similar to how most professional speed test tools work, to give a realistic measurement of your available bandwidth.
Why is WiFi speed different from my plan speed?
WiFi signal strength, distance from the router, interference and other devices on the network can all reduce real throughput below your ISP plan's advertised speed.
What is ping and jitter?
Ping is the round-trip time to the server in milliseconds. Jitter is how much that time varies between requests; high jitter causes choppy calls and games even when ping looks fine.
Where does the IP and ISP information come from?
Public IP, ISP, ASN and location are looked up using a public IP geolocation lookup from your browser.
Is my data stored?
No. Bandwidth is measured live and never written to disk. Recent results are kept only in your browser's local storage.
Why did the test fail or show no data?
Some corporate networks, VPNs, ad blockers or firewalls block large test transfers. Try again on a different network or temporarily disable blocking extensions.
